Children's Day Celebrated at Don Bosco Bandlaguda

Don Bosco School Bandlaguda on 14th November has celebrated children's day in the school campus. Children have been participating in an array of competitions to mark the advent of the day since 8th of this month.

On the actual day teachers manifested their love towards the children. They have sung, danced, play acted, made speeches and performed many other programmes to make the day a memorable one. Children are filled with awe as they see their own teachers shake the stage with their steps. Fr Vijaya Bhaskar, the Corespondent, Fr Sojan, the administrator, Fr Suresh, the principal, staff, students and parents are present for the occasion. Children enjoyed their day with fun and frolic. The Meticulousness with which the programmes are presented is appreciated most.

Vanamahotsavam Celebrated at Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda.

The students and the staff of Don Bosco school Bandlaguda celebrated Vanamahotsavam (Feast of the Forest) on 16th of October in the presence of Fr Simon Manjooran, the chief guest (former Provincial of Hungary and a member of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad), Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, the correspondent of the school, Fr Bandha Suresh, the principal and Fr Puthussery Sojan.
The ceremonial part of the event was preceded by the chief guest's message on ecology and biodiversity. The chief guest then, along with the other guests of honour, planted Chinese Palms in the school campus.                                                        
Students and the teachers took an active part in the event. Around 200 saplings were planted by the students. The students collectively have taken an oath to protect and nurture the saplings that are planted in the campus and to keep the surrounding environment clean.

Teachers Day Celebration at Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda.

Teachers are the nation-builders. They build the future citizens of the country. On 5th of September Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda celebrates the teachers day. The day is packed with lots of activity. Morning sessions are designed to felicitate the class teachers by the students in their own class rooms. Lunch is organized by Fr Bandha Suresh the principal, with the coordination of the teachers who have taken initiatives in preparing various cuisines that are shared in the afternoon. The post lunch session is animated by the students. Teachers have taken active participation in playing various games organized by seventh class students. Cl Sarath Parry and Cl Mallavarapu Anil who are present for this programme also showed their Salesian dexterity in organizing party games for the teachers. The day ended with a meaningful cultural programme staged by the students.

Independence Day Celebrations at Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda

Fr Balaraju in his message to the students emphasized on "being honest citizens of the country." The cultural programme which was performed by the students symbolized a mosaic of Indian cultures. The events also included the performance of classical dance, yogasanas and martial arts done by the students. Sudeep a student of class 5 made the audience spell bound with his impact filled patrotic speech. The events were so efficaciously organized by Fr Suresh Bandha the principal and the staff that the whole celebration evoked the patriotic spirit in the audience.

August 15, 2012 was a joyous day for the students and the faculty of Don Bosco School (CBSE) Bandlaguda, Hyderabad not only because it was the 66th Independence Day but also because it was the first ever Independence Day celebrated in the school campus. The day's celebration started off at 8:00 in the morning beginnng with the welcoming of the Chief Guest and the distinguished dignitaries with the Bosco band by school children. The national flag was hoisted by the Cheif Guest Fr Raminedi Balaraju, the Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad. Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, the Correspondent of the school, Fr Simon Manjooran, Fr Papaiah the parish priest of Bandlaguda parish were the other dignitaries present for the day's celebration
