Inter - School Cultural Fest Organized By Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda.



Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda has organized inter-school cultural fest on 12th February. As many as 18 schools across the city of Hyderabad with 300 participants have taken part in this cultural event. The programme is facilitated with a view to encourage our cultural games, arts, dances among the children of Hyderabad. Beginning with the inaugural ceremony at 9 a.m. the programme’s cultural competitions are started right away in solo dances, group dances, rangoli (Indian art), Painting simultaneously at different venues of the school premises. School Children attired in numerous cultural outfits geared up for the competitions in all their dignity to express the cultural legacy of India through various art forms. Besides they have also enjoyed meeting new friends from neighboring schools and a spirit of friendship was in the air. The one day cultural programme has come to a close at 5 in the evening with a concluding cum prize distribution ceremony. Fr Maddhichetty Michael, the chief guest and Fr Thathireddy Vijayabhaskar, the co-respondent is present for prize distribution and the programme ended with the speech of Fr Vijayabhaskar.  It is a day of Joy and grandeur as all the participants have expressed and witnessed the rich culture through the prism of art forms.

Inter - School Karate Competitions at Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda.

Don Bosco School Bandlaguda has become venue for the interschool Karate competitions on 9th February. Yadav Budokan Karate Academy, Kismatpura has organized this event in collaboration with the school management and the staff. 140 students from eight different schools with rigorous training and practice have come together to compete in this competition. Little Ninjas have been exhibiting their skills from morning under the supervision of six judges. Many of the students of Don Bosco, bandlaguda too have performed well and all are thrilled that their hard work and dedication paid off with six medals. The Principal of Rock School, Kismatpura, Mrs Vandana, the chief guest gave away the prizes to all the winners. The electrifying concluding ceremony, the rhythmic steps of the students and the final message by chief guest have given a fitting conclusion for the programme. A huge congratulations goes to the competitors and their coaches.
