A grand celebration was witnessed at the campus of Don Bosco School (CBSE), Bandlaguda, on 22nd February 2014 , on the occasion of the most anxiously awaited event of the year, “The 4th annual day celebrations”.
The Programme traditionally began with a welcome dance and the lamp lightening
ceremony. Later all the dignitaries let their thoughts flow with their precious
messages. Rev.Fr. K.T.Jose (Correspondent) took the
privilege to welcome the guests. Our beloved Principal Rev.Fr.B.Suresh
presented the School Report .
The cultural Programme kick started with thunderous performances by the tiny buds of Don
Bosco. Melodious songs sung by the nightingales enthralled the audience.
The evening commenced with the welcome of the esteemed guests of honor, Rev.Sr Fathima Mary (Superior general, St.Ann’s), Mr.Jagdish babu (Director of income tax), Mr. Bhoopati Rao(MEO, Rajendranagar), Mr.Rajan Philip(Principal- Swami Narayan Gurukul), and Mr.J.Shyam sunder Reddy(Panchayath secretary-bandlaguda Jagir).
The evening came alive through a fascinating instrumental music concert. The martial arts performed by the little stunt masters was outstanding.
The audience were mesmerized by the first ever ‘Shadow play’ presented by the students of Don Bosco. The dance performances by the high school students were indeed electrifying.
All the parents joined their hands together to cheer their loving kids as they received the prizes for various accomplishments in both academics and extracurricular activities.
Finally there came a moment where the finale had come to an end leaving the audience a lot of memories to cherish.
